History

The hospitality furnishings industry has seen an influx of competition in the wake of residential furniture’s declining sales. However, entering into a new market is often a learning experience, and residential furniture manufacturers find out quickly that the hospitality industry is not as forgiving as the home market. Timeliness of deliveries is often difficult to achieve, even if quality can be brought up to contract standards. RBF is a young company, but it is not new to the hospitality industry – on the contrary, it has roots in contract that go back as far as anyone’s.

Origins

RBF Group’s development has its origins as far back as the beginnings of Beverly Furniture, and draws its talent and experience from a team comprised of individuals involved with that company as well as key players with histories at several other major hospitality furniture manufacturers. Representing previous executive management from the likes of Beverly Furniture, Charter, Boyd Furniture, Lockhardt and others, our people, their blend of talents, and their breadth and depth of experience in this industry are what make us unique.

Foundation

We have a very basic foundational business strategy – that is, to leverage these internal strengths to provide better products and services than the competition. While this is never as simple as it sounds, our ability to draw on a seasoned, motivated team of industry leaders prompts us to believe we can accomplish what others will not attempt, and consistently be at the leading edge of our industry.
